This issue is for everyone who knows they’re too old for an Easter basket… but still secretly wants one anyway. Packed with the sweetest handpicked goodies, you’re sure to find something satisfying inside.
Knowing this issue would land on Easter morning, I went on a little Easter egg hunt of my own last week—gathering a colorful array of resources just for you. I tested out all kinds of yoga classes, meditations, and other offerings before selecting my favorites to share.
Since this is the eggs-tra special issue, I thought it was the perfect time to shake things up. Lately, I’ve been featuring a lot of short asana classes and long Nidras, simply because that’s reflective of my personal practice. But sometimes, it’s good to try something new.
I was reminded of that while experimenting for this issue. Because most of these practices didn’t fit into my usual morning routine, I found myself returning to the mat in the afternoon instead. That small change opened up space to explore different styles, lengths, and intensities.
It felt playful and refreshing—like filling a basket with those little plastic eggs and cracking them open one by one to see what treasures waited inside. I rediscovered poses I hadn’t encountered in a while, remembered just how impactful a short meditation can be, and felt a renewed sense of vigor in my personal practice.
So whether you’re craving something light and joyful or deep and nourishing, I’ve tucked a little bit of everything into this issue. Consider it your grown-up Easter basket—no plastic grass, just the good stuff.
Let’s dig in.
Letting Go & Releasing Control | Emotional Release & Calming Flow | Sarah Wes
26 Minutes | All Levels
This is the second class from Sarah Wes I’ve tried and shared in the newsletter, and I have loved both. Her sequences are creative, her cueing is thoughtful, and her teaching style is so soothing. There’s something refreshing about her classes—pure and simple.
This one includes a few challenging moments, but everything is easily adaptable. When a pose doesn’t feel right in my body, I either modify it or choose something else entirely. Helpful hint: when in doubt, settle into Child’s Pose. It’s always a good option.
Yoga Nidra | Trapped Emotions | Heart Healing | Soul Technologies
16 Minutes | All Levels | Beginner Friendly
Ignore the strange thumbnail—some channels don’t allow their content to be embedded, but I still wanted to include this gem. Just click the image above, and it’ll take you directly to the meditation on YouTube.
Despite being labeled as a Yoga Nidra, I wouldn’t personally classify it that way—it’s missing several key elements that define traditional Nidra. That said, it’s still a stellar meditation. I got a lot out of it, and I think you might too.
Helpful hint: I practiced lying down (just like a Nidra) and it was really nice.
Yoga For Lymphatic Flow | Yoga With Adriene
27 Minutes | All Levels | Beginner Friendly
I don’t know much about lymphatic practices, but they’ve been on my radar for a while now. A friend of mine regularly attends (and raves about) a local lymphatic yoga class, and I’ve always wanted to join her. Unfortunately, the timing never worked out.
So I was excited to try this lymphatic flow class from Yoga With Adriene. I was a little surprised she didn’t talk more about the lymphatic system itself, but even so, I really enjoyed the practice. It’s gentle, feel-good movement. I think you’re going to love it too.
Divine Self-Love Meditation | 20 Minute Self Love Meditation | Loren Runion
21 Minutes | All Levels | Beginner Friendly
I used to practice Yoga Nidra with Loren Runion almost daily. I love her down-to-earth, no-frills style—straightforward, steady, and easy to follow. The only reason I don’t practice with her as often these days is that most of her classes are on the shorter side, and I like to set aside a full hour for my morning Nidra. It’s a luxury I savor.
That said, whenever I get the chance to fit in a second Nidra in the afternoon, I head straight to Loren’s YouTube channel. I can always count on her to have something good waiting for me there.
I appreciated this specific class for its simplicity. I came out of it feeling like I’d just had the most glorious 20-minute nap… even though I stayed awake the whole time.
Dr. Wayne Dyer's Life Advice Moving Forward & Letting Go | Motivational Execution
14 Minutes | All Levels
And last but not least, a few wise words from Wayne Dyer. I’ve always love his message. He never fails to uplift and inspire. Enjoy!
Questions to ponder this week:
What types of personal practices do you enjoy most?
Long, luxurious meditations/Yoga Nidra sessions?
Short and sweet yoga flows?
Challenging, extended asana practices?
Quick Nidras or breathwork breaks? What time of day feels best for your practice—morning, afternoon, or evening?
Which styles and times fit into your everyday life?
These questions can help you start to shape a daily ritual that feels both practical and fulfilling. There’s no one size fits all approach. Your practice is personal, built around what supports you best.
Wishing you a beautiful week ahead.
See you next Sunday!
♥️ I love this and can’t wait to try some of these! The Wayne Dyer title is eggs-actly what I’ve been focused on recently, so I’m excited to dive in to that little goodie!
