“Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes….including you.”
Anne Lamott
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! I got to spend Thanksgiving with my in-laws in Girdwood, a charming Alaskan ski town that holds a special place in my heart. Growing up, I spent countless days downhill skiing and snowboarding there. It’s also where I got married and where my little family has made countless memories together.
This time, the resort wasn’t open, so we filled our days with cross-country skiing, Yahtzee, and plenty of good food—a week well spent.

What I didn’t do this week was write, so this issue is a little lighter than usual. I needed the break, but I’m hoping to return with something spectacular for you next week—fingers crossed!
In the meantime, here are some home yoga resources I’ve been enjoying lately.
Unlock Your Healing: Discover the Power of Vagus Nerve | Yoga Nidra | Ayla Nova
1 Hour | All Levels | Beginner Friendly
I’ve dealt with anxiety for most of my life. Over the years, I’ve developed coping skills to manage it, and now I’m adding this Nidra to my toolbox. Lately, I’ve been struggling more than usual, even having panic attacks— a most unwelcome development. I haven’t had them for years and I didn’t expect them to resurface.
I tried this on an especially challenging morning and was shocked by its effectiveness. I started the practice in full panic but finished feeling calm, centered, and genuinely surprised. I felt so much better.
If you’re caught in a panic spiral and can’t find your way out, I highly recommend giving this powerful practice a try.
Rest and Repair the Nervous System Yoga Nidra | Loren Runion
43 Minutes | All Levels | Beginner Friendly
I took a break from my Ayla Nova streak to try this lovely offering from Loren Runion, and I’m so glad I did. It reminded me how much I enjoy her teaching style. Every teacher brings their own unique touch, and switching things up can be so refreshing.
If you’re looking for a simple, straightforward Yoga Nidra to bring a little rest into your life, this one’s a gem!
15 Minute Yoga Flow to Feel Good in Difficult Times | Yoga Movement Therapy | Boho Beautiful
15 Minutes | All Levels
When I chose this practice, I expected a slow, soothing sequence. To my surprise, it turned out to be a swift, energizing flow! It was a little more than I bargained for, but I loved it. Picking up the pace and building heat felt invigorating, leaving me awake and ready to take on the day.
That’s all for now, friends. I’m hoping to return to the usual format next week, but for now, simply showing up in your inbox feels like a win.
Take care of yourselves, and rest whenever you can.
See you next Sunday.
Love you lady.
Thanks for the inspiration as always.
Looking forward to joining you on the mat again soon.
